“Change in International Studies”
Dear Colleagues,
You are invited to beautiful Nashville, TN for ISA-South’s next annual conference. Tennessee State University is proud to welcome you to what promises to be another exciting intellectual exchange in one of the richest cultural and entertainment centers in the South.
This year’s conference theme is “Change in International Studies.” The conference planners welcome proposals that deal with International Studies in general or in a particular geographic region. In addition, we also encourage papers that analyze recent electoral changes that have taken place and their potential or actual implications for international relations. Proposals and panels on change in the teaching of International Studies are also welcomed. These can emphasize innovations regarding study abroad, service learning, and simulations such as Model UN. All proposals for papers and panels must be submitted by July 14th, 2009.
Please do not forget to make your hotel reservations. The room rate is $107 for both single and double rooms. For reservations contact please contact the Hotel Preston at (615) 361-5900. In order to get the guaranteed conference rate you must make a reservation no later than September 10th.
